# Can we add our own "trigger" (customized course field) for sending out notifications?

We would like help to use a customized course field be the trigger for sending out notifications.

TalentLMS has a "notifications" feature that allows the system to send an email X hours after course completion to a range of different users, including the course instructor.

But it does send one of those per user, since users might complete courses at different times on their own schedule.

There's no mechanism (at present) for sending notifications when an individual unit (such as an ILT module) has been completed.

Instead, you'd need to run some kind of automation based on the event calendar where the ILT module is scheduled. The TalentLMS calendar allows you to access it through an iCal feed URL. If you add your TalentLMS calendar to your favourite calendar app (eg Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.) you could theoretically then set actions based on the calendar event, depending on the features of the calendar app.

Hi. 
We woud like to have a trigger in Talent LMS that sends an e-mail to the instructor 1 week after the course (or ILT session) is finished. Note: We want only 1 e-mail to be sent, not one e-mail per course participant that attended the course/ILT session.
