# How can we best migrate our members to utilize the functionality of CE and incorporate our Partners?

We (International Guild of Musicians in Dance) migrated from another platform, and it was pretty straight forward. Also, CE's customer support was very helpful throughout the whole process. Basically, we exported our member information from the old platform, then formatted it in a spreadsheet, sent that to CE and they bulk uploaded the member information to our new site. It was painless.

We set up all our events for online registration.  Once members understood that paying/reserving etc was easier, they began using the entire system more.  Also, we began a weekly newsletter which linked back to the site and have had tremendous success with that.
