# How can salary information be blocked during API transfer?

There was a group we wanted to go live with API technology but could not do so because the salary information would be automatically fed over, causing Selerix to use the wrong set of information to calculate benefits.

They only send the data over API that you approve.  You need to back to your account manager and dig in further.  I have plenty of API feeds that don't require salary information and they don't get it.
