# What is the best way to zoom into a specific country when using a map visual?

Once I have created a map I can drill down to the country needed, but there is still other countries in the view window, so how can I get this closer?

When you create a new map, the default Dimension is set to "Country ISO Code" which, when you try to select a Zoom Area, doesn't allow for countries.

If you change Dimension "Region" then you can select a specific country from the Zoom Area dropdown.

The traffic values (and the map colors based on them) will still be based on the global totals, though, so it may be worthwhile to add a filter. Include only traffic from the country you're zoomed in on. That will 'reset' the map so that the color variations better reflect the traffic in that country alone.
