# Is there a way for me to tag photos with the names of people shown in photo?

It seems like there should be a way to tag photos with specific info per photo. Am I missing seeing some basic functionality that's available?

Hi Julie,

Are you an administrator or member of the library staff?  If so, you can add  keywords, captioning, and other metadata for images via the "Edit image IPTC Information".  It's found under the actions menu bar on the backend.  Please respond if you need additional assistance and I'll be glad to help.
