I understand that the only way to expand the cloud space provided by Dropbox is by paying for the premium plans. The cheapest of them is the Plus with a price of $9.99 (USD). However, Dropbox also has a version for businesses (the Business version) with other plans. In the past, Dropbox gave away a couple of gigabytes for a limited time to users, but I think that nowadays it no longer does this.
