Thank you for your question.

The goal of the new analyze page, which has now been renamed as Workbench, is to provide a one page application that is optimized for ad-hoc analytics against resident data in the data lake or connected data sources. 

Below are some of the key features:

- Richer data discovery tools for Hive metastore.
- Ability to choose clusters or fully managed serverless execution mode for queries.
- Improved status pane targeted at reducing time to debug.  Ability to switch between a simple uncluttered easy to understand status steps and logs for the advanced the user.
- New results pane with ability to search displayed results.
