My advice for those that want an alternate solution for conference devices is to either keep that device out of the MFA group or to put a hardware Token somewhere near it.

Hi Archie. Thanks for asking! AuthPoint allows user to authenticate using push notifications, QR-codes, or one-time passwords. However, SMS-based authentication will not be an option. That method was intentionally not offered because it is viewed as a less secure method. NIST has commented that, "Due to the risk that SMS messages may be 
intercepted or redirected, implementers of new systems should carefully consider alternative authenticators. Out-of-band authentication using [SMS or voice] is deprecated, and is being considered for removal in future editions of this guideline." While using SMS-based MFA is better than relying on a password and username alone, it still leaves users vulnerable to being hacked so we chose not to provide it as an option. I hope that explanation helps.
