# how do I get more space in this cloud?

I need more space to store my documents but at a lower cost or for free, preferably.

For additional space, invite your friends to try Dropbox, Dropbox basic accounts receive 500 MB per recommendation if the guest downloads and installs the application; and can get up to 16 additional GB that would complete 18Gb in total.
Dropbox Plus and Professional accounts receive 1 GB per referral and can earn up to 32 GB.

How to invite a friend to use dropbox:
Log in to dropbox.com, click the avatar at the top of any page, and select Settings, select Plan. If you've paired a personal and a work account, select the Personal tab and click Invite Friends.
If that guest installs a dropbox and opens a free account, Dropbox will immediately send a message to your inbox and email letting you know that they are giving you an additional 500 Mb of storage for inviting a friend.
