# How does Basis Compare?

I haven't found anyone who does quite what Basis does so I'm curious as to what other people's experience has been between using the Basis platform vs other DSP's.

Hi Seth,

Not sure if this is still of interest to you or not, but we (www.NerdVision.co) are currently running programmatic as white label solution for agencies and tech providers. We have used AppNexus, MediaMath and Trade Desk previously as well.

Basis ranks high in ease of use and performance. It can be a struggle getting support on pixel implementation, so it is helpful if your team has some experience there. Additionally, they are making strides on the analytics side and have a lot of customization on the reporting.

AppNexus is strong if you need a big platform and are looking to add your own tech integration on top of their platform (i.e. custom bidders).

Trade Desk is well rounded, but not as good as AppNexus for tech stack integration, and not as good as Basis for performance (in general). It has more PMP deals and PMP deal customization however, so that could be a deciding factor if your clients are heavily leveraging PMPs.

Hope this helps. If you have other questions or need programmatic support reach out: erics@nerdvision.co
