Identity Manager leverages read-only (governance collection - "Collectors") and read-write (provisioning - "Drivers") for identity management operations. We provide over 50 drivers and collectors out-of-the-box and generic service drivers (JDBC, REST, SCIM, SOAP, LDAP, etc.) providing an extensible connector framework for connecting to an infinite number of apps as levergaged by our online community: http://bit.ly/NetIQCommunity

Our partner eco-system has leveraged service drivers and our SDK to deliver specific connection to vertical integrations or "home grown" apps.
