Identity analytics are provided through out-of-the-box capabilities, integration with SIEM solutions, and integration with the Vertica analytics platform. The solution performs peer group and activity analysis to detect excessive access rights and anomalous behaviors in order to trigger remediation actions including micro-certifications and de-provisioning. It also produces time series and operational metrics such as the number of requests per application over time, the mean time from access request to fulfillment, the increase or decrease in user risk over time, etc. This information, along with metrics like license cost, risk score and frequency of access provides decision support and guidance to approvers/reviewers and enables process improvements through automation thus lowering cost of ownership and improving end user experience.
