# How do I create templates for SharePoint pages?

My team regularly uses templates in Confluence and would like to do the same with SharePoint to make it easier to generate content.  How can we do this with SharePoint?

Click New at the top of an existing site or page, and choose Page or News post.
Choose the template you want to start from. ...
Add your content. ...
When you're done, save your page by clicking Save as draft.
