I believe data visualization and cartography can be done easily with Pro than earlier softwares. I believe the aesthetic quality is much higher than concurrently offered softwares. Look into ArcGIS Pro Styles!

There are several "suites" that Esri has for specialized capabilities.

For example, "Pro" is the foundation piece for the entire 'Smart Cities" offering.

There are many other Esri verticals that are supported by Pro

It is difficult to know what you would like to do, perhaps you can tell us what you currently use the software for.
