# How do make our classic layout and fields, buttons transfer over to lightning

We have a lot custom visualforce pages, buttons and apps that do not transfer over to lightning. Need help with the integration.

Welcome to everyone&#39;s world, Sasha!  While the transition from classic to lightning opens the doors to easier design and faster display in the future, today it means learning a whole new way of making web pages in Salesforce.  Go through the lightning wizard in your admin screens (you&#39;ve probably seen it plenty of times by now).  It has links to training on how to write pages using the new lightning components. With lighting version it loses some of the classic view functionality. My company uses mostly lighting view, I personally keep it to the classic view.
