# How do you create a customized performance review dashboard that will give real time completion %?

I need to provide managers with large teams customized reports of their teams performance reviews completion rates, i want to achieve this by creating a custom widget and adding it as a dashboard within their cornerstone instance. Is this the right way to go about doing this?

Hi Gustav

You are correct in your step approach. Setup the custom report first with the necessary fields and filters. Share the report with the "Managers" group. Important note, remember to summarize atleast one of your field columns. This is a pre-requisite for charting.

Then go ahead and create your chart. Take your time to find the correct value combinations that will present the data to your managers in the most effective manner.

Once this is done, click on the publish tab. Select both tickboxes and save the report.

Now go to dashboards, and create a new dashboard and the click on Add Widget. You will notice an option, Published Widgets. This is where you will find your published chart widget to add to your dashboard. Select it and click ok to add.

Remember to save your dashboard and then to share the dashboard with the same manager group.
