# there is a form to get more realistic renders from inventor?

i would like to know if is ther a from of produce better renderings with the inventor, as integrate it with the 3ds max module or somethign like that

Within Autodesk inventor you can use the Studio environment to create close to photo realistic renders. But 3D max will give much better result but also has a much harder learning curve.

Max can load Inventor files natively, so that's certainly one option.

The render engine in Inventor is pretty good, though. There is a great deal of  tweaking that can be done to get good results, especially through the use of bump mapping. That being said, there are no controls for texture mapping like you might find in Fusion 360 (basic) or Substance 3D (ultra advanced).

It's also worth looking at VRED (think Keyshot on steroids) as an alternative render engine (if trying to stay in the Autodesk family).  I think of VRED as the spiritual successor to Showcase (and then some).
