# Why can't I save my work-space?

I set it up and then save it, but when I open a new project it is all jumbled.

Try to clear the Cache in Premiere.  Locate those folders.  DO NOT just use the Clear cache function within Premiere Pro.  Locate and open the hard drive folders and manually select and delete those files.  PLEASE note that you can delete prefs. by accident.  IE: ones you may want to keep.  Also, I have had certain instances where, the workspace, minimizes to 1 monitor while it was set up for two monitors.  I know there are no REAL solid bulletproof answers, but I always start with the cache!
