# Do you know of any marketing management tools that are HIPAA compliant?

Hubspot has a lot of limitations using it in the health industry since forms aren't secure and we can't track returns via Hubspot.

Many of our healthcare clients use a mixture of Nextech and HubSpot. They use HubSpot Marketing Hub and Sales Hub for acquisition of new patients, but once someone becomes a customer/patient they are managed over in Nextech for appointment reminders, patient information, medical records, etc.

The challenge, of course, is you don't have one system for everything, but this compromise has allowed our digitally-savvy clients to leverage best-of-breed tech for new patient acquisition, and they have been please with the results.

We always encourage our clients to consult with their legal counsel prior to purchasing or using technology, and every organization tends to be a little different. For example, in the case of one of our healthcare clients, a contact might fill out a form that indicates they are a current patient or may share health problems in a comments section. This is stored in HubSpot and our client is OK with this because the information was offered by the contact via the public-facing online form. However, for another client, this was not acceptable.
