# Why is sound gets muted sometimes when recording in Desktop browser?

Basically, I use this for Accessibility recordings, sometimes the sound in the background does not come into recording even though it is enabled in settings

Are you connected to a Promethean Board or something like that?  If so, try disconnecting from that and try again.
