# How to export from photoshop to lightroom

Need to export a picture from photoshop to put into lightroom. How?

Hello! I’m a research analyst who focuses on office and design software at G2. To manually export an image from Photoshop to Lightroom that you originally exported from Lightroom, just select Save in Photoshop (not Save As) and it will automatically appear in Lightroom. If you did not originally export your image from Lightroom into Photoshop, follow these steps: In Photoshop, save the image you’d like to export to your computer. I recommend saving it within an easy-to-find folder on your desktop. Then, open Lightroom and select File, then Import from the main menu. From here, select the image you created in Photoshop to Import it from Lightroom. Hope this helps!
