# How to cancel a paypal payment

We accidentally sent through a payment that needs to be withdrawn. How?

Paypal will first ask you to contact the seller you made the payment to first to resolve. Most often this will work but if not it may take time to get paid back. Open Paypal and sign in. Go to money. Then go to the 'Activity' screen and find your payment. Click the payment and choose 'Resolution Center'. then choose the solution to get the issue resolved.
