# How to delete a page in Google Docs?

I need to delete the document I made so that it is not retrievable. How do I do this?

Open and log in to Google Drive. 

Move the document you want to delete to the trash, or "remove" it. 

Once the page/document has been "moved to the trash" or "removed," click on "trash" on the left side of the Google Drive screen. 

Find the document that was just deleted/ moved to the trash. (The easiest way to find it is to sort them by clicking "last opened by me" in the top right corner.) 

Once the document is found, right click on the document and select "delete forever."
