# How to create a filter in Jira

I need to create a filter to look for things. Does anyone know how to do this?

You need to be administrator In order to work with filters .
The possible options are ::  
Only My Issues = assignee = currentUser()
 and Recently Updated = updatedDate >= -1d
Nextly on the UI go to :: 
Board → Configure → Add a new Quick Filter
Gve the following details :: Name, JQL, and a Description then click the Add
Button.
You can change\delete and move the filters too.
