Begriffe und Übersetzungen werden als "Strings" betrachtet. Die Gesamtanzahl der Strings eines Projekts ist die Summe seiner Begriffe und Übersetzungen. Zum Beispiel hat ein Projekt mit 100 Begriffen und zwei vollständig übersetzten Sprachen insgesamt 300 Strings (100 Begriffe plus 200 Übersetzungen aus den zwei Sprachen).
