Not really, LXD is more of a container manager on top of LXC. It gives VM like isolation but it’s still using system containers, not full virtualization like a hypervisor.

Nein. LXD ist kein Hypervisor. LXD-Container-Instanzen teilen sich den Kernel des LXD-Hosts und LXD-Instanzen replizieren den Benutzerbereich des Root-Dateisystems, wodurch Apps auf dedizierten Instanzen installiert werden können.
