Hallo,

Kurz gesagt, ERP ist ein Softwareprodukt, das Unternehmen dabei hilft, die meisten oder alle ihre Abläufe zu verwalten, von Front-Office (Vertrieb, Marketing) bis hin zum Back-Office (Buchhaltung, Personalwesen und Gehaltsabrechnung) und branchenspezifischen Aktivitäten wie Beschaffung, Fertigung, Großhandel oder professionelle Dienstleistungen.

Das heißt, nicht alle ERP-Systeme bieten all diese Funktionen. Einige spezialisieren sich auf Fertigung, andere auf Vertrieb oder professionelle Dienstleistungen.
