Microsoft Project has been a standard for tracking projects of various sizes. The dependency chaining works quite well and helps visualize resource and task scheduling. Good for milestone tracking at a high level, while also designating resources to...

The UI isn't the best when compared to Meistertask. Even Trello has a certain charm about it. Also it doesn't currently have a mac native app and the IOS version isn't great either sadly.

Several departments have tried using it more as a task management solution and it just doesn't hold up. Solutions like AtTask offer a much better enterprise level project management.
