G2 reviewers report that Onshape excels in overall user satisfaction, boasting a significantly higher G2 Score compared to Ansys Motor-CAD. Users appreciate its centralized interface, which makes it easier to keep track of projects and simplifies the export process.
Users say that Onshape's browser-based functionality is a game changer, allowing them to access their work from any device without the need for heavy software installations. This flexibility is particularly beneficial for those who prefer not to carry bulky laptops.
According to verified reviews, Onshape's implementation process is praised for its intuitive onboarding, with many users highlighting the quick setup and ease of use. In contrast, Ansys Motor-CAD, while effective, does not receive the same level of acclaim for user-friendliness.
Reviewers mention that Onshape's support quality is exceptional, with timely responses from the help center, often within a day. This level of support contributes to a smoother user experience, whereas Ansys Motor-CAD's support feedback is less frequently highlighted.
Users highlight that Ansys Motor-CAD is particularly strong in specific technical analyses, such as fluid and finite element analysis, making it a valuable tool for users focused on optimizing motor designs. However, Onshape's capabilities in these areas are less robust, which may be a consideration for users needing advanced simulations.
G2 reviewers note that while both products cater to small businesses, Onshape has a larger market presence and a higher volume of reviews, indicating a broader user base and more consistent feedback. This suggests that Onshape may be a more reliable choice for small businesses looking for a well-supported solution.
