Hi Lauren, you have the option to minimize the markup tool while recording in advanced settings. But Loom isn’t as great a video recorder as hoped. I'm curious to know if you are talking purely about the the recording capability or the whole platform? I feel like the overall Loom service is better than the other screencap software that I've used. I have seen other screen capturing software that is more feature rich, but they didn't have the hosting, editing, tracking, transcript, etc capabilities.
