[Which solution supports large-scale webinars and virtual events?](/discussions/which-solution-supports-large-scale-webinars-and-virtual-events)

I want to start a discussion focused on [video communication platforms](https://www.g2.com/categories/video-communications) that teams are actually using to run large-scale webinars and virtual events. While some tools lean more toward async video updates, others offer advanced capabilities that make sense for hosting bigger audiences and engaging participants at scale.

These are some of the top-rated options I've found:

1. [**Loom**](https://www.g2.com/products/atlassian-loom/reviews): Popular for quick async updates and knowledge sharing. Can Loom scale to support larger audiences, or is it best kept for team-level communication?
2. [**VEED**](https://www.g2.com/products/veed/reviews): A browser-based editing and video creation platform with AI tools like auto-subtitles and translations. Can VEED handle live-style virtual events effectively, or is it stronger as a post-production tool for event content?
3. [**Synthesia**](https://www.g2.com/products/synthesia/reviews): An AI-powered platform that generates avatar-led videos in multiple languages. Does Synthesia work well as a supplement to webinars for pre-recorded content, or can it serve as the centerpiece for global virtual events?
4. [**Riverside.fm**](https://www.g2.com/products/riverside/reviews): Known for studio-quality podcast and video recording. Is Riverside a practical choice for hosting webinars with interactive features, or better suited for producing polished event content?

If you’ve used any of these platforms, or paired them with other webinar solutions, I’d love to know which ones scaled best for virtual events and what challenges you faced.

[What platform provides multi-language live translation for meetings?](/discussions/what-platform-provides-multi-language-live-translation-for-meetings)

Hi everyone! I want to start a discussion focused on [video communication](https://www.g2.com/categories/video-communications) platforms that enterprises and teams are actually using to overcome language barriers in meetings. While many tools support recording and async collaboration, a few stand out with features that make global collaboration more inclusive and productive.

These are some of the top-rated options I'm considering:

1. [**Loom**](https://www.g2.com/products/atlassian-loom/reviews): A go-to for quick, async video updates. Does anyone know if Loom’s transcription and captioning tools extend well to multilingual teams?
2. [**VEED**](https://www.g2.com/products/veed/reviews): A browser-based editor with strong AI features like subtitles and translations. Is VEED effective for teams that need real-time captioning across different languages, or is it better suited to post-production edits?
3. [**Microsoft Teams**](https://www.g2.com/products/microsoft-teams/reviews) – Microsoft’s enterprise collaboration hub integrates video conferencing with Microsoft 365. It offers real-time captioning and live translation across multiple languages, making it one of the strongest enterprise-ready options for global teams.
4. [**Zoom**](https://www.g2.com/products/zoom-workplace/reviews) – A widely adopted video conferencing platform that supports live translated captions and interpretation features. It enables real-time language translation in meetings and webinars, which is especially useful for international collaboration.

If you’ve implemented any of these, or other platforms, for live translation or multilingual meetings, I’d love to hear what worked well, what didn’t, and which tools surprised you.

Curious if anyone’s compared how accurate these live translation features are across platforms? Some seem great for everyday team syncs, but I wonder which ones hold up best in high-stakes client meetings.

If you are talking about off line meetings: we use Glossa.live for our church and it works great. The pricing is also surprising to us - only $5/hour per language. The voices are very realistic.
