Question on: SketchUp
[Can we Print or Export High Level Layers to the .pdf files?](/discussions/can-we-print-or-export-high-level-layers-to-the-pdf-files)

Blue Bean can Manage Layers in a .pdf, If only I can produce a .pdf with Precise Layers from the Model, I could create wonderful things.

Yes, use the layers panel (SketchUp calls these tags) to turn certain layers/tags off and then export only the visible high level layers to .pdf

Created the login but now were to download it. Rated the but but support is off line and no download link. Pretty hard to test software if the site does not let you get it. Will have to use something else. ;-(

Question on: SketchUp
[What is the best way to copy and paste a specific number of, for example, windows onto a building instead of individually placing them?](/discussions/what-is-the-best-way-to-copy-and-paste-a-specific-number-of-for-example-windows-onto-a-building-instead-of-individually-placing-them)

On tall buildings that require multiple windows, is there a better way of placing them other than just copy and pasting one window at a time.

Sorry if this is way too late, but I do have your solution. I call it the Move-Copy function, but I'm not aware of its official term. First, select the entity(s) or group you want to distribute. Then, single-click grab it with the Move Tool and then tap the Control key (alt on Mac). His will create a copy attached to your cursor, while leaving the original at its place. Next, click to place the entity at the end of the line you want to create (for a row of windows for example, you would place it wherever you want the \*last\* window to be). VERY IMPORTANT, at this point in the process, do not click anything else anywhere else, at all. Trust me. Finally, type in "/x" (where "x" is the amount of copied entities you want to create), then hit "enter". If you typed in "/4", then there will a total of 5 windows, the original window and the 4 copies. If there wasn't enough copies made or too many copies we're made, you can easily change that by entering the "/x" then "enter" command again. So long as you haven't already done something else. Also, the Undo command will also set you back up with the original entity. Good luck.
