What Is a Text Editor? And Why Does It Matter to Developers?
If you have Windows, you have access to the default Notepad application installed on your computer.
At some point, you would have used Notepad to replace Microsoft Word. But those who work with code understand that while it looks similar to Microsoft Word in terms of providing a writing space, Notepad can do more.
Most modern systems come with pre-installed basic text editor software like Notepad, and you can use them for more than just taking notes and creating documents.

Question on: Visual Studio Code
How do I add other programming languages?
Click on the square on the left top side, and click search.
search in windows visual studio installer and add the languages that do you want to use
I assume you want to add syntax highlighting and code support for other programming languages that are not supported natively on Visual Studio Code. The best way to do this is to switch to the Extensions tab and search for extensions for the programming language that you want to add. You'd usually install the one with the highest number of installs and positive reviews.

Open NotePad++.
Go to Plugins > NppFTP > Show NppFTP Window in the menu at the top of your Notepad++.
In the NppFTP Window, click the gear and select Profile Settings.
Click Add new.
On the “Adding profile” pop up, name the FTP Profile Connection.

When you are done adding the FTP information click close.
Click the (Dis)Connect icon in the NppFTP window. See image to the right.
Select your new Profile.
Your Notepad++ should display your FTP connection log and details at the bottom and the files on your server in the NppFTP window.

Question on: Visual Studio Code
Is there a way to stop the extension host from crashing?
I have found my extension host shuts down completely when a keyword is too long. For example a base64 jpeg
increasing the amount of ram your application is using allowed to use to accept longer strings of text. This will prevent the extension host from crashing as well as the program in general.
