Hello,
In the formula bar at the top of the spreadsheet, you need to type in "=" and then "sum(" then click on the cells you'd like to add, typing " + " in between the clicks (or click and drag over a selection of adjacent cells you'd like to add) or if it's just numbers type in the sum, then finish with a ")" and press "enter".
