Freightpop is a Transportation Management System (TMS). In our case, it provides us with one single point to create shipments, poll all of our LTL (Less than Truckload) carrier accounts for the best price, create shipping documents, and schedule pickups, all through the carriers' APIs. After that, it provides a tracking dashboard, a single source for shipping history, and freight bill auditing (the auditing alone can pay for the subscription price). It can also do similar for other modes, like parcel, truckload, etc. So essentially: if you send out 100+ shipments per month, a TMS like Freightpop will save you time and money, while getting more competitive rates, and better insights.
