Yes, Front is a good and solid software. One of the main differences is that Missive does not offer a feature where you forward emails to a Front address and the only backup copies of your emails reside in Front.
We simply don’t believe this is how email should be handled. A dedicated email server that hosts the main copy of your emails should be the backbone of an organization’s email setup, then collaborative apps like Missive and Front should be a layer on top and they should not lock you in forever.
As part of our Front import service, we offer a way to copy emails stored only in Front into an actual email account you own. Customers are very thankful for this when they realize they otherwise had no other way to easily preserve their emails when moving to another app. When using Missive, you never have this lock-in issue.
