[What platform integrates sales planning with CRM and BI tools?](/discussions/what-platform-integrates-sales-planning-with-crm-and-bi-tools)

I’m trying to find a [sales planning platform](https://www.g2.com/categories/sales-planning) that doesn’t just handle planning in a vacuum, but also works well with the tools teams already use for pipeline data and reporting. In theory, a lot of these platforms say they integrate well, but I’m curious what that looks like in reality.

A few I’ve been looking at:

[**Anaplan**](https://www.g2.com/products/anaplan/reviews): seems powerful, especially for bigger teams, but maybe a little heavy

[**Clari**](https://www.g2.com/products/clari/reviews): feels like it would connect well on the CRM side, but not sure how strong it is for planning

[**Xactly**](https://www.g2.com/products/xactly/reviews): looks interesting if comp, planning, and sales data all need to tie together

[**Pigment**](https://www.g2.com/products/pigment-2024-01-19/reviews): seems more modern and flexible, but I don’t know how strong the integrations really are

[**Varicent**](https://www.g2.com/products/varicent-varicent/reviews): heard it can handle more complex orgs, just not sure how easy it is to work with

What I’m really trying to understand is whether any of these make life easier once CRM + BI are part of the setup, or if you still end up doing a bunch of manual cleanup and workaround stuff.

I’d care a lot about how naturally it pulls CRM and BI data into planning, because that is where these setups either click or become messy.

[What is the top-rated sales planning solution for enterprises?](/discussions/what-is-the-top-rated-sales-planning-solution-for-enterprises)

I’ve been looking through a bunch of enterprise [sales planning platforms](https://www.g2.com/categories/sales-planning), and a lot of them seem strong in different ways, but it’s hard to tell which ones people genuinely rate highly once they’re fully rolled out across a big sales org.

A few platforms that keep coming up:

[**Anaplan**](https://www.g2.com/products/anaplan/reviews): seems like a major player for enterprise planning, but maybe complex to manage

[**Xactly**](https://www.g2.com/products/xactly/reviews): looks strong, especially if quota planning and compensation need to work together

[**Varicent**](https://www.g2.com/products/varicent-varicent/reviews): seems built for larger orgs, but I’m curious how user-friendly it really is

[**Pigment**](https://www.g2.com/products/pigment-2024-01-19/reviews): feels more modern, but not sure how often it’s used at true enterprise scale

[**Clari**](https://www.g2.com/products/clari/reviews): I mostly hear about it for forecasting, but wondering how strong it is for planning overall

Biggest thing I’m trying to understand:

What actually makes one of these “top-rated” in practice better modeling, easier rollout, stronger integrations, or just less admin overhead?

For enterprise sales planning, I’d care most about forecasting accuracy and how well it connects planning across teams.

[What is the most affordable sales planning software for SMBs?](/discussions/what-is-the-most-affordable-sales-planning-software-for-smbs)

I have been looking for [sales planning platforms](https://www.g2.com/categories/sales-planning) for smaller sales teams that don’t cost a fortune.

Something that is built for SMBs specifically. A lot of the platforms in this category seem aimed at bigger companies with bigger budgets. I don’t need something super enterprise or overloaded with features if the basics are solid.

A few options I’ve come across:

[**HubSpot**](https://www.g2.com/sellers/hubspot)– seems accessible, but not sure how far it goes for actual planning

[**Pigment**](https://www.g2.com/products/pigment-2024-01-19/reviews): looks SMB-friendly, curious if anyone uses it beyond pipeline management

[**Freshsales**](https://www.g2.com/products/freshsales/reviews): pricing looks reasonable, not sure how strong the planning side is

[**Aviso**](https://www.g2.com/products/aviso/reviews) **:** interested in whether any lower-cost options are actually worth it

Main thing I’m wondering:

What’s the best value option for an SMB that wants better sales planning without ending up in a super expensive enterprise setup?

A lot of these tools get expensive fast once you move past the entry tier, so I’d focus on which one still feels worth it after a few reps and managers are added.
