Data forms the core of every business decision made today. However, disparate and siloed data disconnect processes, technologies, and people across various go-to-market (GTM) teams. Organizations have realized the importance of aligning their sales, marketing, and customer success teams to work together to utilize available data instead of just focusing on individual team goals. This is where revenue operations & intelligence (RO&I) software enters.

Question on: RevSure
[How does your platform handle parent–child account hierarchies (e.g. subsidiaries under a global parent) in attribution?](/discussions/how-does-your-platform-handle-parent-child-account-hierarchies-e-g-subsidiaries-under-a-global-parent-in-attribution)

How does your platform handle parent–child account hierarchies (e.g. subsidiaries under a global parent) in attribution?

RevSure handles parent-child account hierarchies by leveraging the account structure and hierarchy data available in the customer’s CRM and connected systems. RevSure primarily uses source Account IDs from systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot to map leads, contacts, opportunities, and interactions to the correct account. Where records are not explicitly connected, RevSure applies entity resolution using attributes such as company name, email domain, and related identifiers to stitch records to the appropriate account. If parent-child relationships, such as subsidiaries under a global parent, are maintained in the CRM through standard hierarchy fields, custom fields, or custom objects, RevSure can ingest that data through its Data Hub. These hierarchy attributes can then be used in attribution and reporting. RevSure’s configurable entity resolution and business mapping framework allows customers to expose parent account, subsidiary, region, business unit, or global account relationships as custom dimensions. This enables teams to analyze attribution both at the individual account level and at the broader parent or global account level.

Question on: RevSure
[Can the platform identify buying groups (multiple stakeholders on one deal) and capture their combined influence or roles? If yes, explain how.](/discussions/can-the-platform-identify-buying-groups-multiple-stakeholders-on-one-deal-and-capture-their-combined-influence-or-roles-if-yes-explain-how)

Can the platform identify buying groups (multiple stakeholders on one deal) and capture their combined influence or roles? If yes, explain how.

Yes. RevSure can identify buying groups, or buying committees, and capture their combined influence on a deal. RevSure identifies stakeholders by ingesting CRM relationship data such as Salesforce Opportunity Contact Roles and HubSpot contact-deal associations. It also evaluates role-based attributes, such as campaign role and stakeholder contribution, to understand how different contacts influence pipeline and revenue. RevSure can also identify and capture contacts from unstructured engagement data, such as meetings, and emails. The platform can extract relevant participants, associate them with the right account and opportunity, and help assign the appropriate buying group role based on their engagement context. For B2B deals involving multiple decision-makers, RevSure supports All Contacts and Account-Level attribution models. These models aggregate marketing touchpoints across all known leads and contacts associated with the account, rather than limiting attribution to a single primary contact. RevSure also incorporates broader account-level intent, ABM, and advertising signals from platforms such as 6sense, Demandbase, RollWorks, and LinkedIn, ensuring that both individual stakeholder engagement and account-level buying committee activity are reflected in attribution. When stakeholders are not explicitly attached to an opportunity in the CRM, RevSure uses entity resolution to link relevant active contacts from the account to the deal. This can include contacts active around the opportunity creation date, contacts engaged during the opportunity lifecycle, and contacts identified through emails and meetings, which are then mapped back to the correct account and opportunity. This gives teams a complete view of the buying group and its collective influence on pipeline and revenue.
