Question on: McKesson Connect
How can there be a better way that you can order and have a confirmation that you have ordered?There needs to be a way that you have a confirmation that you have ordered a product. If there was a button that actually said, "Confirmed you have just ordered --------" or what ever the product is and there was a way that you were able to track the order would be very useful.

McKesson Connect sets up review orders prior to submission/ordering, so that your office can restrict specific items that can be displayed/ordered and sign off on any orders that are placed prior to actually placing that order. However, there doesn't seem to be an order confirmation option. A workaround of that confirmation button or email or follow-up would be the reports that McKesson Connect runs. McKesson Connect helps you keep track of and manage drug inventories (ones that need to be resupplied as well as of existing inventory count), as well as financial reports on the valuation of your current inventory. The reports can also help you keep track of the categories of product types that you keep on hand or regularly order, but that's only by dollar, volume, or weighted usage. The system also offers an online pharmaceutical return processing system, that grants users access of invoices, which may be something you'd like to check out. McKesson Connect helps you be proactive when it comes to ordered products, specifically in the ordering stage of the product procurement workflow.

How can I have a confirmation print out once order has been placed.I would like a confirmation print out for the unit Administrative Associate records so we are not double ordering products and have an excess. Also, to keep up with the units expenses as sometimes things get missed if we are not able to immediately make a note once the order has been made

To sum up, for the first part of your question: McKesson Connect helps you be proactive when it comes to ordered products, specifically in the ordering stage of the product procurement workflow. You can leverage McKesson Connect's review orders option prior to submission/ordering, generate the platform's reports on the status of diminishing product or track products as they make their way to your office, or access invoices via the product's online pharmaceutical return processing system. Unfortunately, there's no confirmation print out option once the product is bought.
Now, to answer the second part of your question: to keep up with the cost of units, McKesson Connect generates financial reports that can do just that. Their financial reports reports on the valuation of your current inventory and automates the recording of the weight and dollar amount of products that are ordered and distributed.
