Question on: PestPac by WorkWave
[What does data migration look like when switching to PestPac from another pest control software?](/discussions/what-does-data-migration-look-like-when-switching-to-pestpac-from-another-pest-control-software)

We're currently on a different platform and have years of customer data, service history, and account records we'd need to bring over. I'm trying to understand what the migration process looks like before committing to a switch.

Years of customer data, service history, and account balances are the real switching cost in this decision, and the migration process is worth scrutinizing as closely as the software itself. PestPac offers a few migration paths depending on your situation. For straightforward datasets, there's a free self-service Data Import Utility that works from CSV uploads. For most companies switching platforms, we recommend the guided migration, where a dedicated specialist manages the transfer of customer records, service history, work orders, outstanding balances, and stored credit card tokens. That last one matters more than people expect, since losing autopay enrollments means re-collecting payment info from your entire recurring customer base. Larger or more complex migrations are scoped individually. One honest note: migration complexity genuinely varies by source platform. How your current system structures and exports data affects what maps over cleanly, which is why we assess your specific dataset during the sales process rather than promising a one-size-fits-all answer. If you share what platform you're on and roughly how many accounts you'd bring over, our team can give you a realistic picture of what your specific migration would involve before you commit to anything.

Question on: PestPac by WorkWave
[Does PestPac support state-specific regulatory reporting and termite compliance documentation?](/discussions/does-pestpac-support-state-specific-regulatory-reporting-and-termite-compliance-documentation)

Our business includes termite work and we need software that handles state-specific WDO forms and regulatory reporting — not just general scheduling and billing. Wondering how deep PestPac goes on the compliance side.

Termite work raises the compliance bar considerably. WDO and WDI reporting is state-specific, format-sensitive, and often tied to real estate transactions where a non-compliant form has real consequences. It's worth asking any platform you evaluate how deep its termite documentation actually goes, because this is where pest-control-specific needs go well beyond scheduling and billing. PestPac includes state-specific WDO and WDI forms as part of its termite functionality, not as an add-on workaround. The Termite Module also handles bait and bait tube documentation for warranty protection, and includes Centricon-specific scanning through a built-in Corteva integration. Technicians scan stations in the field and the documentation trail builds itself. Beyond termite work, PestPac supports state-specific regulatory reporting, including California school usage and agricultural commissioner reports, chemical tracking with EPA registration numbers and application details per property, digital clearance reports, and Logbook for centralizing inspection reports and licensing documentation. That last one is particularly useful if your commercial accounts face third-party audits. Compliance requirements vary enough by state that the most useful next step is usually a specific conversation. Tell us which states you operate in and which forms you file, and we can show you exactly how each is handled.
