Varied depends on the amount of customers and some other items that you might want to add. It is cheaper than other solutions but it is not inexpensive. On the plus side i have a real number to call and customer support in the US and Europe. I also have a monthly call with a single customer service provider that reviews anything and helps me out.

It very much depends on what you are hoping to achieve with your use of Appcues. Appcues provides a number of ways of displaying user assistance material, most commonly as on-screen pop-ups of some sort. A typical pop-up would be displayed when the user lands on a specific screen in your application.
The pop-up might display information about the screen or updates about screen features, or specific instructions for using the screen. You can control the number of times a pop-up is displayed for each user and choose to make the pop-up available in a fixed menu, so that the user can re-display the pop-up at any time.
Appcues pop-ups are available in several formats (or "patterns") - and each format can be used to present information in a specific way, about the screen or about one or more features of the screen.
Multiple pop-up steps can be combined into an Appcues "flow", so if you need to display different types of information about a screen, you can easily do so. An Appcues flow can be targeted so that it appears to selected groups of users if required, such as those in a specific industry or geographical region. This helps ensure that the content displayed to each user is relevant to their needs.
Some key points to consider when setting up an Appcues flow:
* What information do I want to provide about this screen/feature/data field? (space is limited in most formats, so it needs to be important information and you need to consider why the user might need it)
* What is the best format to use to present the information (modal, slideout, tool tip, hotspot or some combination of these)?
* Which users do I want to make this information available to?
* How many times should I display the information for each user?
* Should the user be able to recall the pop-up from the menu?
* Do I need to provide links to more detailed information or video content?
Each format provides several standard template layouts, so you can quickly create professional and consistent pop-ups. For more advanced users, you can create each pop-up using HTML and CSS from scratch if you wish - giving a lot more control and flexibility for the look and feel of your material.
