Apryse provides unparalleled support and documentation. We provide full pre-sales support, detailed API references, and step-by-step guides for setting up our technology and leveraging it in various use cases. Our toolkits provide both low-level APIs for working with the inner structure of documents, as well as high-level APIs that hide those details and make working with documents easy.

Question on: Apryse PDF SDK
How does Apryse handle document security and compliance in regulated industries?
How does Apryse handle document security and compliance in regulated industries?
Apryse handles security, compliance, and data sovereignty by design. That’s because Apryse provides toolkits for clients to use in their environments, rather than a hosted Cloud offering. Since documents aren’t sent to Apryse, that means they can be kept in-house and not sent across insecure networks to foreign servers. By keeping data in-house, security and compliance can be ensured directly. The Apryse WebViewer SDK is WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliant and can make PDF documents compliant with accessibility requirements through automated conversion to PDF/UA.

Question on: Apryse PDF SDK
What made you choose Apryse over other PDF SDKs?
What made you choose Apryse over other PDF SDKs?
Apryse offers a wider set of features, platform support, language support, and consistent API compared to other toolkits. Apryse developed its technology in-house, rather than simply repackaging open-source toolkits, and can therefore add new features and bugfixes in-house. Apryse’s technology works in the browser as well as native desktop/mobile platforms.
Apryse doesn’t host documents, instead empowering the technology to be self-hosted, which has obvious benefits in security, data sovereignty, and network performance.
