Question on: nCino's Mortgage Suite
[Is nCino's Mortgage Suite worth it for digital mortgage closing?](/discussions/is-ncino-s-mortgage-suite-worth-it-for-digital-mortgage-closing)

I'm trying to work out whether nCino's Mortgage Suite is worth it specifically for[](https://www.g2.com/categories/digital-mortgage-closing)[digital mortgage closing](https://www.g2.com/categories/digital-mortgage-closing), and I'd like a reality check from people who use it or review it.

On paper the closing piece is real, not a weak bolt-on:[](https://www.g2.com/products/ncino-s-mortgage-suite/reviews)[**nCino's Mortgage Suite**](https://www.g2.com/products/ncino-s-mortgage-suite/reviews) (the former SimpleNexus) runs hybrid, RON, and full digital closings, with e-note and e-vault certified to Fannie and Freddie requirements, all inside one borrower login that runs from application to close. That single-login borrower experience is its biggest draw.

My read is that it is worth it mainly when you want the whole application-to-close platform in one place, with closing as part of that. If you only need best-in-class eClosing and already have a point-of-sale or origination system, a specialist like[](https://www.g2.com/products/eclosing-by-snapdocs/reviews)[**eClosing by Snapdocs**](https://www.g2.com/products/eclosing-by-snapdocs/reviews) may be leaner and stronger on the title and settlement side. Two things to weigh: with nCino you are committing to the whole platform, not buying a standalone closing tool, and some users say the default settings are rigid and hard to customize.

So for anyone living on it: is the closing piece pulling its weight on its own, or is it worth it mostly because the rest of the suite already carries the borrower experience?

If your origination already runs on nCino, the closing piece is probably worth it purely for the single borrower login. If you're buying it just for eClosing, Snapdocs will be leaner and won't require adopting the whole platform to get there.

Question on: Shape Mortgage CRM
[What is Shape Mortgage Software used for?](/discussions/what-is-shape-mortgage-software-used-for)

What is Shape Mortgage Software used for?

Shape Mortgage CRM is used by loan officers, brokers, and mortgage banks to manage leads from first contact through funding, and to keep marketing running to the database in between. Day to day it handles three jobs. It captures leads in real time from any source, checks for duplicates, and distributes them by rule so the right LO gets the lead immediately. QuickFire dials that lead the moment it lands, and the AI agent picks up first-touch and follow-up when nobody is available. Then it manages the pipeline through your loan stages with tasks, checklists, and automated status-driven follow-up. The marketing side runs on the same database. Drip campaigns, bulk email and text, birthday and refinance-opportunity alerts, and co-branded content for referral partners. Calling, texting, and email are built into the CRM, so there is no separate dialer or email tool to sync. Teams also use it for the borrower-facing side through the customer portal, which handles digital application, document requests, eSignature, and milestone updates. Multi-branch lenders use branching to give each location its own routing, reporting, and permissions under one account. Most teams replace two or three tools when they move to Shape. Common starting point is a CRM plus a separate dialer plus a separate marketing tool.
