I say this because vacations are never turned down so approving this is a pointless exercise of control. Vacation approval is very easy to do you can use your account to self-manage your days off in the days that you need to request off it sends a request right to your manager so you don't have to send it an email that isn't even necessary just ask your days off in the app and call it a day thank you Answered: Karen Gantert on October 27, 2022 The manager constantly gets notifications of every change if it that is the way it is set up if the manager isn't interactive with the app then it's hard to use going forward but any real company will use it accordingly and make sure that your days off are approved or not approved it also lets you claim your PTO and how many hours you want if you have any PTO available best of luck Answered: Karen Gantert on October 27, 2022 Hello, that's a great question. The approval and notification workflow can be configured to require approval or it can be turned off as your organization prefers, however, notification only occurs for a cancellation. When using auto-approval, it does not send a notification to the manager. Hi Doug, Thanks for reaching out! I have a few suggestions on how you can ensure no one slips through the cracks. 1. Implement a strong internal process of "who owns what", if you know that X person is responsible for reviewing applicants and moving them to candidates, that person can take ownership of a step. Additionally being diligent in moving someone to candidates when ready ( I recommend once you want to reach out and initiate conversation) can make it clear what needs to be done in the applicants tab. 2. Download our mobile app. The app allows you to review and initiate conversation with an applicant right from your phone. If you find you are not at your desk or a computer for long periods of time, this can help keep you up to speed. 3. Use our, recently updated, candidate search feature. This functions as a candidate database for anyone that has applied to the account. Putting all of your applicant pools into one bucket that you can then sort using smart filters. I move candidates to "advance" if they are in consideration to be sure none get lost.
