[PayPal Is NOt Returning USD 40,000 they kept for 180 Days After account suspension](/discussions/paypal-is-not-returning-usd-40-000-they-kept-for-180-days-after-account-suspension)

After my account was frozen, PayPal has taken the entire money frozen in my account. No communication and no emails about the money stolen. When I enquired - I got an auto-generated email NO explanation given, no emails sent. The amount is GONE........ Have any of you gone through this? EMAIL I understand that your funds were not withdrawn to your bank account after 180 days. This is because if you violate the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), we may debit your PayPal account up to $2,500 USD for each such violation and may take legal action against you to recover additional losses we incur. We have debited $ XXXXX USD from your PayPal balance towards the violation of the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). When you accepted the PayPal User Agreement you agreed that $2,500 USD per AUP violation is a reasonable minimum estimate of PayPal's actual damages, considering all currently existing circumstances, including the relationship of the sum to the range of harm to PayPal that reasonably could be anticipated because, due to the nature of the violations of the Acceptable Use Policy, actual damages would be impractical or extremely difficult to calculate. PayPal may deduct such damages directly from any existing PayPal balance in any PayPal Account you created, own and or control. The specific activities that may subject you to an assessment of damages by PayPal can be found in the Acceptable Use Policy. You can also refer this link for your reference:- https://www.paypal.com/in/smarthelp/article/where-can-i-find-the-paypal-acceptable-use-policy-faq998?app=searchAutoComplete It is my pleasure to assist you. PayPal is not the panacea of trouble free money transfers. On more than one occasion PayPal emptied my bank account. I did get my money back once I noticed the problem, however the damage was done. I had to pay three separate NSF charges. My bank, the Scotiabank was good about the issue and set me up with a new account with no fee. They had the proof right before them.

I had 0 disputes in 180 day hold period and overall 99.3% success in selling. My account was limited and all my funds. ~$1800 were taken without any email or any notification! Paypal did not incur any loss and even if they did. Where is the receipt and proof? They just emptied my account and left me penniless. I called them for settlement, they said they'd reach me. What should I do now?

These companies have software engineers who claim to be able to help you recover your lost, damaged, or deleted wallets. Whether you have lost access, forgotten passwords, limited PayPal or hardware failure, they will help you recover all these lost files. Since this is still such a new industry, their effectiveness is somewhat suspect. However, if you stand to lose a decent amount of money, then professional recovery services might be your best option. Regardless of why you are unable to recover your lost cryptocurrencies, what you need to do is make sure you keep your wallet safe and secure moving forward. With the future of bitcoin going mainstream and a worthwhile investment option, it's in your best interest to make sure you make security a priority. I had to learn this the hard way. I lost my bitcoin investment to Trustwallet hack which cost me money to recover my investments from. Had the opportunity of working with the best recovery company in the business Royalfinancialrescue. Support @ Royalfinancialrescue com if you need some help recovering. They went above and beyond for me to trace and recover 86% of my lost crypto.

U cant do anything about it. Also, my personal experience, PayPal stole all the money from my account that they have frozen. So I lost $40k.
