[What HR service delivery platforms genuinely improve the employee experience for a company where HR requests are still handled mostly by email and Slack messages?](/discussions/what-hr-service-delivery-platforms-genuinely-improve-the-employee-experience-for-a-company-where-hr-requests-are-still-handled-mostly-by-email-and-slack-messages)

Most HR teams start with email and Slack. The real question is what [HR service delivery platforms](https://www.g2.com/categories/hr-service-delivery) actually improve the employee experience when that's the baseline, not just replace it with something equally messy.

The pattern that tends to fail is implementing a platform that employees ignore and revert to Slack anyway. The tools that work in these situations tend to either meet employees where they already are or make the new experience noticeably better than sending a message and waiting.

Here are a few that seem to shift that experience meaningfully:

- [**ServiceNow HR Service Delivery**](https://www.g2.com/products/servicenow-hr-service-delivery/reviews) (4.3 stars, 350+ reviews): Moves requests into structured workflows with visible status tracking, so employees stop following up on things manually. Reviewers describe the shift from fragmented email threads to a single tracked request as one of the clearest improvements employees notice early.
- [**Applaud**](https://www.g2.com/products/applaud-hr/reviews) (4.8 stars, 50+ reviews): Builds employee-facing portals that replace scattered interactions with a single place to submit requests, check status, and find policy information. Reviewers mention that the employee-first design makes adoption easier than tools built primarily for HR admin use.
- [**Rezolve.ai**](https://www.g2.com/products/rezolve-ai/reviews) (4.8 stars, 30+ reviews): Works directly inside Slack and Teams so employees never have to leave the tools they're already in. Reviewers describe this as the key reason adoption was faster than expected, because the experience felt like an upgrade to Slack rather than a replacement for it.
- [**Leena AI**](https://www.g2.com/products/leena-ai/reviews) (4.6 stars, 150+ reviews): Handles common employee queries through AI assistants that respond instantly, which matters most when the volume of repetitive HR questions is eating up the team's time. Reviewers describe it reducing the number of messages that require a human to respond to at all.

Which approach worked better for you: replacing Slack and email entirely, or layering structure on top of them?

We moved off email and Slack for HR requests and honestly getting people to stop DMing directly was the whole project. The platform was live in a few weeks, the behaviour change took much longer. How have other teams handled that side of it?

[What HR service delivery platforms have strong integration capabilities so employee requests and case management flow seamlessly with the existing HR tech stack?](/discussions/what-hr-service-delivery-platforms-have-strong-integration-capabilities-so-employee-requests-and-case-management-flow-seamlessly-with-the-existing-hr-tech-stack)

Hey G2 community,

I want to start a discussion with folks exploring HR service delivery tools, specifically around integration. What HR service delivery platforms actually make employee requests and case management flow seamlessly with an existing HR tech stack?

From reviewing options in the [HR Service Delivery category](https://www.g2.com/categories/hr-service-delivery), a few tools consistently come up when integrations are the deciding factor:

1. [**ServiceNow HR Service Delivery**](https://www.g2.com/products/servicenow-hr-service-delivery/reviews): Known for deep integrations with enterprise systems, especially IT workflows and case orchestration across departments.
2. [**SAP SuccessFactors HCM**](https://www.g2.com/products/sap-successfactors/reviews): Strong in SAP-native ecosystems where HR, payroll, and analytics are tightly connected.
3. [**Applaud**](https://www.g2.com/products/applaud-hr/reviews): API-first approach that makes it easier to connect with existing HRIS and engagement tools.
4. [**Personio**](https://www.g2.com/products/personio/reviews): Integrates well with payroll, recruiting, and performance tools in mid-market environments.
5. [**Leena AI**](https://www.g2.com/products/leena-ai/reviews): Connects conversational AI workflows with backend HR systems for request resolution.

Which of these has actually reduced friction in your workflows instead of adding another layer?

API-first sounds right but I always want to know if HR can own that or if it quietly requires IT to set up and maintain it. What does the actual integration work look like for a team without a dedicated HRIS admin?

[What are the best employee perks platforms to boost retention and engagement across mid-market organizations?](/discussions/what-are-the-best-employee-perks-platforms-to-boost-retention-and-engagement-across-mid-market-organizations)

Hey G2 experts in the employee perks community! I'm trying to figure out the best [employee perks platforms](https://www.g2.com/categories/employee-perks) to boost retention and engagement across mid-market organizations, and from what I've come across so far, Vantage Circle, Wellable, and Perkbox seem to be the most talked-about options. Here are a few I've been looking at in the employee perks category:

1. [**Vantage Circle**](https://www.g2.com/products/vantage-circle/reviews) **:** Comes up a lot for mid-market teams. The rewards and recognition layer seems to drive day-to-day engagement rather than just one-time perk redemptions. Does it hold up for diverse, distributed workforces?
2. [**Wellable**](https://www.g2.com/products/wellable/reviews) **:** Takes a wellness-first approach with challenges, educational content, and a rewards wallet. Does the wellness angle actually translate to measurable retention improvement?
3. [**Perkbox**](https://www.g2.com/products/perkbox/reviews) **:** Strong breadth across discounts and lifestyle perks. Does it keep engagement consistent over time or does it spike at launch and taper off?
4. [**Coverflex**](https://www.g2.com/products/coverflex/reviews) **:** Combines flexible compensation with a perks layer. Is the dual positioning a strength or does it make driving perks adoption specifically harder?
5. [**Compt**](https://www.g2.com/products/compt/reviews) **:** Stipend-based model that lets employees choose what's relevant to them. Has the personal relevance angle actually driven better engagement in practice?
6. [**Circula**](https://www.g2.com/products/circula/reviews) **:** Primarily an expense platform that has moved into employee benefits. Is the perks side mature enough to meaningfully drive engagement?

For those managing perks programs at mid-market organizations, which platform has actually moved the needle on retention? Was it the perks catalog, the recognition features, or just having a dedicated platform at all?

From my experience, the biggest impact usually doesn't come from the perks catalog alone. Retention improvements tend to happen when a platform makes recognition, rewards, and perks part of employees' day-to-day experience rather than something they only visit occasionally.
