Maps are one of the most effective ways to present data. They display where we live, where we move, who we interact with and, ultimately, where we’re headed.

Question on: ArcGIS Pro
[BUG - Auto layout automatically applied to model in model builder](/discussions/bug-auto-layout-automatically-applied-to-model-in-model-builder)

Hello, I am using ArcGIS Pro v3.0.3 I have encountered a bug with the model builder in ArcGIS Pro. I wonder if anyone else has experienced similar issues and if there are any solutions to this bug. The bug is that the “Auto layout” option in model builder ribbon is automatically applied to my model when I open it in edit mode from the toolbox database. This auto layout functionality messes up the positions of all the geoprocessing tools and nodes within the model. This issue started to occur after I upgraded to windows 11 business with Azure and linked a external HDD, Specifically after I changed a setting in windows the setting was called "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support" I have since reverted the setting back but the issue still persists If anyone can help me with this bug that would be much appreciated. Kind regards, Daniel

Situation update, I have done some more tests and I am confident the bug is a result of ArcGIS pro v3.0.3 Bug description The auto layout bug automatically rearranges the tools in a model when the model is opened. You see the rearrangement automatically happen but there is nothing you can do about it. While the rearrangement happens the loading bar is present. The rearrangement makes the overview to the layout tools unorganized and not understandable. The bug does not effect the functionality of the model. Detailed description I still don't know the exact conditions in which the bug will occur. so far it looks like it happens only on the big models the bug only occurs when the model is opened or if the project is opened and the configuration the project was previously saved in which it included an open model. the bug doesn't happen all the time, it trends to happen more after a model is edited and open for a long period of time say 2 hours, saved, project closed and then opened again. once the bug is present on a model it will always happen on that model if you close the model with ought saving it. if the model is saved after auto lay-out is applied the bug doesn't always happen again but it can and often does when you continue to manually rearrange the tools. the bug doesn't happen all the time, if after the auto lay-out has been applied I move the tools around quickly and save the model, close and open the project then this new configuration of tools is maintained. However, if after the auto lay-out has been applied I move the tools around to their correct position which takes 2 hours and then save the model then close and open the project the bug occurs and auto lay-out is automatically applied. when the issue is present in a project, if the model isn't saved the issue will stay present in that project if the project is copied to a different computer that also has windows 11 business and ArcGIS 3.0.3 the problem still occurs if the project is copied to a different computer that also has windows 11 personal and ArcGIS 3.0.3 the problem occurs if the project is copied to a different computer that also has windows 11 personal and ArcGIS 2.9 the model cant be opened because of different versions if the project is copied to a different computer that also has windows 11 personal and ArcGIS 3.0.1 cannot test this because not possible to get ArcGIS v3.0.1 if groups are set in. figured out that once a group is set and the auto layout button is pressed, the tools within the group are not effected. However, when the model is saved and closed and then opened again the bug occurs, the groups are gone and the model is re organized Conclusions the bug happens on both versions of windows 11 pro business and windows 11 pro personal so I don't think the windows operating system is the cause of the issue. the bug happens on ArcGIS pro v3.0.3 and I have seen it happen once on 3.0.1, but after I rearranged the model it didn't happen gain even after I continued working on the model for weeks, so I assume it only happens more consistently on v3.0.3 ArcGIS pro. I cannot test the model on older versions of ArcGIS due to project compatibility issues.

Question on: Google Maps Platform
[in you phone or laptop and computer](/discussions/in-you-phone-or-laptop-and-computer)

the available information may contain some errors and do not give warnings in the event of obstacles on the road such as construction operations and some remote and uninhabited places may not be covered by Google Maps and this make him bad.

Question on: AutoCAD
[why there is no simulation function to run the mechanical machine design virtually?](/discussions/why-there-is-no-simulation-function-to-run-the-mechanical-machine-design-virtually)

some times there is a problem with the design working and, we cannot detect it before the manufacturing of the actual machine, due to our time and money being wasted.

AutoCAD does not come as a SaaS product. So, instead of simulation, you can use trail version or create designs, just for the purpose of trial and modification, as you may wish.
