[Which enterprise mobility management tools have strong threat detection and rapid response capabilities for security teams?](/discussions/which-enterprise-mobility-management-tools-have-strong-threat-detection-and-rapid-response-capabilities-for-security-teams)

I've been looking into enterprise mobility management tools with threat detection and rapid response capabilities for security teams. Enrollment and policy management get most of the attention in EMM evaluations, but what a platform does when something actually goes wrong matters just as much. A few from the [enterprise mobility management](https://www.g2.com/categories/enterprise-mobility-management) category worth considering:

- [**Iru**](https://www.g2.com/products/iru/reviews) **:** AI-powered threat detection with predictive modeling that kills malicious processes before execution. Reviewers describe the lightweight agent as invisible to end users while delivering real-time remediation.
- [**IBM MaaS360**](https://www.g2.com/products/ibm-maas360/reviews) **:** Proactive Threat Defense that detects phishing and malware in real time, with AI-driven risk ranking to help teams prioritize response.
- [**Jamf**](https://www.g2.com/products/jamf/reviews) **:** Continuous compliance monitoring with Apple endpoint telemetry that surfaces security posture in real time. How deep does the threat detection go beyond policy compliance checks?
- [**Cisco Meraki**](https://www.g2.com/products/cisco-meraki/reviews) **:** Network-level visibility combined with device management gives security teams a broader view across both devices and infrastructure simultaneously.

Has threat detection actually been a deciding factor in your EMM choice, or did it come second to enrollment and policy management?

For security teams, the deciding factor is whether the platform can move from detection to action quickly without waiting on manual investigation. Enrollment and policy management still matter, but strong EMM tools should also help contain compromised devices before they become broader endpoint or data exposure risks.

[Which enterprise mobility management solutions offer zero-touch enrollment and automated device provisioning while meeting compliance requirements?](/discussions/which-enterprise-mobility-management-solutions-offer-zero-touch-enrollment-and-automated-device-provisioning-while-meeting-compliance-requirements)

Researching enterprise mobility management solutions with zero-touch enrollment and automated device provisioning while meeting compliance requirements for an upcoming piece. Manual provisioning doesn't scale, and the compliance layer makes it harder to shortlist options. A few from the [enterprise mobility management](https://www.g2.com/categories/enterprise-mobility-management) category worth looking at:

1. [**Jamf**](https://www.g2.com/products/jamf/reviews) **:** Zero-touch deployment through Apple Business Manager with automatic configuration, app installs, and device naming out of the box. Does compliance monitoring stay continuous after enrollment or require manual upkeep?
2. [**Iru**](https://www.g2.com/products/iru/reviews) **:** Automated enrollment with Adaptive Evidence Mapping that continuously maps live device data to frameworks like SOC2. Does the zero-touch experience extend as well to Windows as it does to Apple?
3. [**AirDroid Business**](https://www.g2.com/products/airdroid-business/reviews) **:** Multiple enrollment options including Zero-Touch, Android Enterprise, and Knox Mobile Enrollment. Does batch provisioning hold up reliably at high volume?
4. [**IBM MaaS360**](https://www.g2.com/products/ibm-maas360/reviews) **:** Over-the-air enrollment across Android, iOS, and Windows with automated compliance monitoring. How well does the compliance reporting hold up under audit conditions in regulated industries?
5. [**Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security**](https://www.g2.com/products/microsoft-enterprise-mobility-and-security/reviews) **:** Deep Intune and Entra ID integration for automated provisioning in Microsoft environments. How much of the zero-touch capability carries over for teams outside the Microsoft ecosystem?

If you've done a zero-touch rollout at scale, where did the process actually break down?

At scale, breakdowns usually happen around identity mapping, device ownership rules, certificate deployment, and exception handling. I’d prioritize platforms with reusable provisioning profiles, real-time compliance dashboards, audit-ready reporting, and strong support for the specific operating systems in your fleet.

[Which enterprise mobility management platforms give IT teams strong security without overwhelming enrollment complexity?](/discussions/which-enterprise-mobility-management-platforms-give-it-teams-strong-security-without-overwhelming-enrollment-complexity)

Hey G2 community! I've been evaluating enterprise mobility management platforms for IT teams needing strong security without overwhelming user enrollment complexity. Enrollment complexity keeps coming up as the sticking point.

Here is what we're hoping to find in the [enterprise mobility management](https://www.g2.com/categories/enterprise-mobility-management) category:

- Zero-touch or near-zero-touch enrollment without IT physically handling each device
- Security policies that apply automatically at enrollment without per-device manual configuration
- Admin interface that doesn't require weeks of training
- Support for mixed device environments without separate workflows per platform

A few platforms worth considering:

- [**Jamf**](https://www.g2.com/products/jamf/reviews) **:** Zero-touch deployment via Setup Manager that configures devices automatically on first boot. Strong for Apple-first environments but requires admin experience to fully leverage.
- [**AirDroid Business**](https://www.g2.com/products/airdroid-business/reviews) **:** QR setup and enrollment templates reviewers describe as fast and straightforward, even for new admins.
- [**Iru**](https://www.g2.com/products/iru/reviews) **:** Automated enrollment with compliance and security policies applied automatically, no per-device configuration needed.
- [**IBM MaaS360**](https://www.g2.com/products/ibm-maas360/reviews) **:** Over-the-air enrollment with a Fast Start program for quick deployment. Steeper initial learning curve but centralized policy management pays off at scale.

If you've simplified enrollment for a large rollout, what made the biggest difference?

The biggest difference is usually having enrollment and policy enforcement designed together. Zero-touch or QR-based enrollment helps, but the real efficiency comes when devices automatically receive the right apps, restrictions, certificates, and compliance policies as soon as they enroll.
