We were never made aware of the hours involved, the extra hardware resources required and the difficulty resolving issues. We have since paid an outside resource to fill in the gaps in our IT guys expertise required to correct some issues. We barely even touch it and it seems to work reliably day after day. We patch maybe once every 1-2 months. Answered: Ryan Sim on February 28, 2022 I have multiple sites using Mdaemon (all smaller organizations). Honestly, it's barely hours per month that we have to touch it. I'd say less than 10 hours in a year. Seriously. It's rock solid stable. The only time we really have to do anything with it is when installing software updates and/or adding/removing user accounts. I might be getting it wrong. Outlook is part of the Microsoft Suite. You have to have Microsoft to use it. Please click on File --\> Accounts Information --\> Account Settings --\> Select the desired account --\> Remove. Later you can add same or another account following the same process. If your existing account is IMAP, all email/ contacts will be removed, if you want to keep them, make a backup. If your existing account is POP, email/ contacts will remain in he associated data file. If you wish to remove them, create a new data file, set it as default, restart Outlook and right click data file and remove. The file will be removed from Outlook but will remain on the computer. If you want to remove, find Outlook files folder in my documents (if you didn't change it) and delete. Hope it helps.
