Hi Jeremy, Thank you for reaching out with your question. Everlaw establishes document families based on the relationship between documents, which is indicated in the metadata. When organizing the documents within a group, the parent document will always be identified as the document with the lowest Bates or control number. There are ways you can regroup documents through the use of editable metadata fields. To walk through this in detail, please contact support@everlaw.com for guidance.
